Capable of reading from 50F - 550F degrees, this pocket thermometer (featuring a 5" stem) does the job of monitoring roasting coffee quite well. We use this thermometer for our Whirley-Pop roaster: we drill a small hole (5/32 bit) into the top of the roaster and drop this unit it. It hovers 1 inch above the bottom - the perfect height.
Includes sleeve and is calibratable via a nut on the back of the dial.
